It’s an economic mess out there. If your company is still on track (somehow) and still surviving (somewhere), then celebrate. Celebrate weekly and blast to employees what the company is achieving each week. Pat people on the back for the great work they performed that week.
There are too many companies that, even after an incredible year of successes, can’t celebrate without layoffs. Knock on wood, I have dodged layoffs so far. Hopefully, the economy will turn for everyone and we can see a brighter 2009.
I’m thankful for that. For now.
