Mistake # 37: Does your company meet deadlines?

Do you have company projects that never meet deadlines? We do! I have never experienced anything like this, but if a deadline cannot be met, it is pushed back. Why doesn’t the CEO put his fist down? Because he can’t make deadlines either. In my previous work lives, one individual (the “procrastinator”) could bring down the entire working team by slowing down the pace of the project. But an entire group to not be able to push forward with the “we can do this” attitude, is foreign to me.

This just sets the wrong tone of the entire company.
